Budget Man & Van : 18 Tonne Truck + Man Hire in London
As with all our other vans & trucks we use a fleet of reliable well maintained 18 tonne trucks/vans. Pre maintenance checks are done every 10 weeks so the chances of our trucks breaking down on your job are minimal.
The vans are 18 tonne gross weight though features can differ slightly (e.g. Some with a tail lift and some with a loading ramp and some with side loading doors) and some may be a little longer/wider/taller than others. All 18t vans carry transit blankets for protecting your goods and tools for dismantling & reassembling things like beds and wardrobes. All vans have side battening & ties to secure your goods whilst in transit.

These vans are large. They are ideal for very large London properties and even more so for commercial/business moves where loads tend to be heavier with lots of paperwork and heavy office equipment.
A word of warning though – where access is poor or restricted then these vehicles may not be suitable or practical. In these cases consider 2 or 3 of our smaller vehicles.
When buying/selling a property you will invariably be required to vacate your property by a certain hour (typically 1-2 pm). If you use a smaller van, such as our Luton van or 7.5 tonne truck. then you risk not only the necessity of doing more than one trip to your new property but also financial penalties for not so vacating. Get your van size right!
As a guide they are ideal for the removal of the contents of a 5-6 bedroom house or any commercial move in London.
